Where was problem ?
The main reason behind this is the lack of proper direction in their studies. The right direction includes knowing what to study, when to study, and how to study effectively. Unfortunately, many students are unaware of the techniques and strategies required for effective studying. Students who have parents or elder siblings from IITs are fortunate enough to receive guidance from them. Similarly, the top performers at coaching classes receive personal attention from faculties, which helps them in their preparation. So others are left to struggle on their own, without proper mentorship.
